Advance Commands in this list are provided to address specific problems:

Solution
When I try to dictate into a certain application it is very difficult because NaturallySpeaking has one or more of these problems:
  • The cursor jumps around unexpectedly to a new spot on the page.
  • The Select ... and Correct ... Commands do not work properly or at all.
  • The Insert Before ... and Insert After ... commands do not work properly or at all.

Roaming Profiles

Roaming Users is set up in the Administrative Settings Screen and applies to all users on the computer.  Roaming Users allow the voice profile to be saved on a server and accessed from any computer with Dragon NaturallySpeaking installed and which is connected to that server.

Why is the Acoustic Optimizer option missing on my Accuracy Center screen when Roaming Users is enabled?
The Acoustic Optimizer and Roaming Users

In a Roaming User environment the Acoustic Optimizer is considered an Administrative function.  If using a Roaming Users, access the  Acoustic Optimizer by using the Start Menu to select Dragon NaturallySpeaking, then Dragon NaturallySpeaking Tools .  Instructions on using the Acoustic Optimizer can be found in the NaturallySpeaking Help Topics on the DragonBar.

I f your Roaming User profile is maintained by a system administrator, contact the administrator to find out when, or if, the Acoustic Optimizer is being run.

How can I move custom commands from one Voice Profile to another?
Command Browser Import and Export functions

Access the Command Browser by saying "Start Command Browser" or by selecting Tools, Command Browser from the DragonBar.  Then select the Manage tab.

To Export macros:
  1. Select (check) the macros to be exported.  Macros can be selected from a specific group or from all groups.
  2. Click Export
  3. Browse to the desired directory and enter a file name to create the Export File.

To Import  macros:
  1. Click Import.
  2. Browse to the directory containing an Export File.
  3. Select the File then click Open.
  4. Uncheck any macros not to be imported, then click Import
